ANN COPPEL

Ann Coppel is a producer/director of the Living Treasures Project videos. She has worked in educational and documentary film and television since 1977. Since 1995 she has written, produced and directed a nationally award-winning half-hour television program, The Internet Roadside Cafe for the University of Washington. She directed an independent feature, Crocodile Tears, which premiered at the 1997 Seattle International Film Festival. Her 30 minute documentary Speaking for Ourselves: Portraits of Gay and Lesbian Youth was distributed internationally and won awards from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, National Educational Film/Video Festival, Berkeley Film Festival, and Houston Film Festival.
