Living Treasures Project

The Living Treasure Project video documents the life and works of outstanding artisans and arts advocates who have devoted a lifetime to the crafts. The individuals honored by The Living Treasures Project were chosen by Lloyd Herman, Founding Director, Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution in consultation with a committee of artists and arts professionals from around the Northwest. The Living Treasures Project began in 1997. Five award-winning documentaries, on artists Robert Sperry, Ramona Solberg, Russell Day, Harold Balazs, Virginia Harvey, and Evert Sodergren have been completed. A profile on Anne Gould Hauberg is the most recent offering. All of these profiles are being placed in the public collections of libraries, art schools, archives and resource catalogues.
